I’m writing this from a hotel lobby in Portland, Maine.  We left Texas two weeks ago, and it’s been an adventure!

Yesterday, HT did some job hunting and then we went to Odiorne Point in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.  (One of my letterboxes is there.)  After hiking to the top of one of the bunkers, we strolled along the coastline, listening to the waves crash over the rocks.

It was amazing, refreshing and glorious!

We’ve had the most amazing string of sunny days since we arrived in New England.  That’s given us a chance to spend time outdoors daily.  We’ve explored everything from Sugarloaf (the spectacular Maine ski area, which — even in May — still has snow-covered trails) to Camden harbor.

We’re planning to stay along New Hampshire’s coastline next week.  Every day is wonderful here!
